Role Summary:

The purpose of this hiring is to establish a roster/pool of qualified data entry enumerators who can be called upon to undertake data entry, data processing, data cleaning, verification, and related tasks on a short-term and as-needed basis. The enumerators will be selected and maintained in a pool/roster for a period of 12 months.

The data entry enumerator will be engaged to support the timely, accurate, and reliable entry of project and field data into designated systems and formats. The role will assist the MEL team in maintaining quality records, ensuring efficiency in monitoring, evaluation, and reporting processes.

The volume and frequency of assignments are not guaranteed. Inclusion in the pool does not create an obligation on the part of Right To Play to provide any minimum number of assignments.

Enumerators may be selected for individual assignments based on factors including relevant skills and experience, availability, past performance, familiarity with the required tools/platforms, language requirements, and the specific nature of the assignment.

Responsibilities:

The Data Entry Enumerator will be responsible for:

  • Entering data collected from the field into databases, spreadsheets, or other designated formats.
  • Verifying and cross-checking data to ensure accuracy and completeness.
  • Maintaining confidentiality of sensitive project information.
  • Organizing, sorting, and filing data (both soft and hard copies).
  • Assisting in cleaning datasets and preparing basic summaries when required.
  • Completing assigned tasks within given deadlines.

Supervisory Responsibility:

No

Reports To: The data entry enumerator will report directly to the MEL Coordinator, who will provide data sets, guidance, and oversight.

Qualification and Experience:

  • Minimum bachelor’s degree preferred,
  • Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel) and data entry software,
  • Previous experience in data entry or similar tasks is an asset,
  • Ability to meet deadlines and work independently,
  • Fluency in local languages will be an asset,
  • Strong attention to detail and accuracy,
  • Effective verbal and written communication.

Remuneration:

Enumerators included in the pool will be engaged on a short-term, as-needed basis. Payment will be made based on the agreed consultancy rate and the terms of the individual assignment/work order.

No payment will be made solely for being included in the enumerators pool.
