Position Summary
 
The Data Management Officer (DMO) is responsible for managing all project-related data concerning beneficiaries, trainers, and related stakeholders through coordination with Social Mobilizers, monitoring teams, and the communications team.
 
The role ensures accurate, secure, and effective data systems that support project implementation at both the central and field levels.

Key Responsibilities
 
Manage routine data processes, including data cleaning, entry, and quality assurance using cloud platforms, Microsoft OneDrive, and Excel.
 
Establish and maintain data connectivity and exchange between external partner platforms and the organization’s internal database.
 
Identify and report data errors during review and support resolution with relevant team members.
 
Develop and enhance IMS data collection and aggregation tools.
 
Conduct descriptive data analysis and visualization.
 
Generate and update frequencies, pivot tables, charts, and monitoring indicators, including ad-hoc data requests.
 
Support development of content for dissemination (blogs, social media, etc.).
 
Assist in designing and implementing online and offline data collection tools for monitoring, evaluation, and reporting.
 
Collaborate with the M&E department to provide staff training, technical support, and oversight of data management processes.
 
Archive and back up database systems, ensure data security, and perform database administration tasks.
 
Provide technical expertise in inter-agency initiatives to improve information sharing and institutional coordination.
 
Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.

Qualifications & Experience
 
Master’s/bachelor's degree or equivalent in Data Sciences, Data Management, or a related field from a reputable university.
 
3-5 years of relevant experience in data management.
 
Experience working with NGOs, INGOs, or donor-funded projects is required.
