Data Verification & Documentation Officer (Short-Term Assignment)

Position Title: Data Verification & Documentation Officer
Duration: One Month (Short-Term Assignment)
Locations: Muzaffarabad, Dhirkot, Bagh, Neelum Valley, Islamabad, Rawalpindi
Reports To: Program Coordinator

Job Purpose

The  officer will conduct field visits in his/her area for beneficiary verification, form filling, and collection of required documents within a limited timeframe. The selected individual will be responsible for field-level verification and accurate data entry through digital portals/sheets  and reporting systems.

Key Responsibilities

  • Conduct field visits to verify beneficiary information and records.

  • Fill verification forms accurately and completely.

  • Collect all required supporting documents from beneficiaries.

  • Ensure proper organization and submission of verified documents.

  • Update and manage beneficiary data through digital portals and online systems.

  • Cross-check beneficiary information for accuracy and completeness.

  • Coordinate with project staff and local focal persons during verification activities.

  • Maintain confidentiality and accuracy of beneficiary data.

  • Complete assigned verification tasks within the given timeline of 15 days.

  • Prepare daily progress updates and submit completed records to the supervisor.

Required Qualifications & Skills

  • Minimum Intermediate/Bachelor’s degree preferred.

  • Experience in field data verification, surveys, or beneficiary registration preferred.

  • Ability to work on digital portals and online data systems.

  • Good attention to detail and accuracy in documentation.

  • Strong communication and coordination skills.

  • Ability to travel frequently within assigned regions.

  • Basic knowledge of Microsoft Excel and Word.

  • Ability to work under tight deadlines and complete tasks efficiently.

Preferred Experience

  • Previous experience with NGOs, humanitarian, or social welfare projects.

  • Experience in beneficiary verification and document collection activities.

  • Familiarity with field operations in AJK and surrounding regions.

Assignment Timeline

  • The selected candidate will be provided a list of beneficiaries.

  • Verification, form filling, and collection of required documents must be completed within 15 days of assignment commencement.
