Relevant Experience:
- The ideal District Coordinator should hold a Bachelor's degree in Social Sciences, Development, Management, or Healthcare with 3-5 years of project coordination experience, especially in the development sector.
- Strong leadership, communication, and project management skills are essential, along with proficiency in MS Office and reporting.
- Fluency in the local language and a good command of English are required.
- Prefrence shall be given to local the candidates
The role involves frequent travel within the district and occasional travel to other regions. A Master’s degree and experience working with government officials and communities are a plus.
Job Description:
- Having relevant experience or knowledge of the Benazir Income Support Programme (BISP), with a particular focus on the Benazir Nashonuma Program.
- Lead the planning and execution of project activities in the district.
- Ensure timely and effective implementation of project interventions as per the project work plan.
- Coordinate with district authorities, community leaders, and other stakeholders to facilitate program activities.
- Supervise, mentor, and provide guidance to field staff, including Social Mobilizers and other field officers.
- Organize capacity-building sessions for the district team to enhance their skills and efficiency.
- Conduct regular performance evaluations of district staff and provide constructive feedback.
- Maintain effective communication and coordination with local government bodies, NGOs, and other relevant organizations.
- Represent the organization in district-level meetings, forums, and events.
- Build and sustain relationships with community leaders, ensuring community participation and ownership of the project.
- Monitor the progress of project activities and ensure alignment with project objectives.
- Collect and analyze data to evaluate project impact and effectiveness.
- Ensure proper documentation of project activities, maintaining accurate and up-to-date records.
- Prepare regular reports on district-level activities and submit them to the Regional/Program Manager.
- Assist in the preparation of the district budget and ensure that activities are implemented within the allocated budget.
- Oversee the procurement and distribution of resources and materials required for the district-level activities.
- Ensure the efficient use of project resources and prevent wastage.
- Identify challenges in project implementation and proactively propose solutions.
- Mediate and resolve any conflicts that may arise among stakeholders or within the team.
- Ensure that any issues are addressed in a timely manner to avoid disruptions to project activities.
- Ensure that all activities are in compliance with the organization's policies and donor requirements.
- Submit detailed and accurate reports on time, including financial reports, activity reports, and monitoring reports.
- Ensure that district activities adhere to legal and regulatory requirements.
