Here at Action For Humanity (AFH), Pakistan country office, we are looking for a Multimedia Officer to join us in our newly established Pakistan office in Islamabad. You will join us on a full-time basis and in return you will receive a competitive salary which is negotiable depending on experience.

The Multimedia Officer under the direct supervision of the Media and Communications Officer and the Country Director will be responsible for producing high-quality multimedia content that captures and showcases the impact of AFH’s humanitarian and development projects. The role involves creating visually engaging content, including videos, photographs, reels, infographics, and social media assets, while adhering to humanitarian principles and ethical guidelines. This position requires a creative individual with technical expertise in multimedia production and a strong understanding of humanitarian and development contexts.

Your responsibilities will include the following:

• Plan, shoot, and edit videos, reels, and photographs to highlight the organization’s programs and their impact on communities.
• Develop visually compelling infographics, animations, and other multimedia content for digital platforms.
• Produce high-quality social media content tailored to diverse audiences.
• Travel to project sites, often in remote areas, to provide coverage for ongoing projects including fundraisers.
• Capture stories through visuals that effectively represent the organization’s work and its impact on communities.
• Assist communication team in collecting human stories from the field in from of photographs, b-roll, interviews, sound bites etc.
• Provide multimedia support for events, trainings and workshops.
• Edit and enhance videos, photographs, and other multimedia assets using professional editing software.
• Perform advanced editing techniques, including colour correction, sound enhancement, and graphics integration, to produce polished outputs.
• Ensure all multimedia content aligns with branding and visibility guidelines of Action For Humanity Pakistan (AFHP).
• Manage and maintain multimedia equipment, including cameras, lighting, and audio devices, ensuring they are in optimal working condition.
• Undertake any other tasks assigned by the Country Director.

What we are looking for in our Multimedia Officer:

Education

• Bachelor’s degree. Preferably in Media Studies/Sciences, Mass Communication, Film Production, Visual Arts, or any related field.

Experience

• At least 3 years of professional experience in multimedia production, preferably in the humanitarian or development sector.
• Experience in producing platform-specific content for print, social media and digital platforms.

Skills

• Advanced proficiency in editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, After Effects, Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign, and other related software.
• Strong technical skills in videography, photography, and graphic design, with a portfolio of previous work.

Required:

• Ability to work in challenging environments and travel to remote locations as needed.
• Knowledge of ethical guidelines and humanitarian principles related to content gathering and representation.
• Strong organizational skills to manage multimedia projects and asset libraries effectively.
