Development of project pipeline: To identify, assess, and develop a pipeline of 12 potential projects eligible for trading under carbon markets, ensuring alignment with international standards and national priorities.
• To liase with project entities associated with identified pipeline and provide technical guidance on emission accounting methodology, project documentation, and development process to meet the requirements of new carbon market policy.
• To conduct research and contribute to the development of a shadow Just Energy Transition Partnership (JETP) model, including exploring innovating green financing mechanisms and frameworks to support Renewable Energy transition in Pakistan.
• To support the energy unit team in executing other relevant tasks and activities as assigned, contributing to the overall objectives and initiatives of the unit.
