Scope of Position
The Manager Programmes will support the effective planning, implementation, and monitoring of education-related programs across designated districts. The role involves close coordination with provincial and district education departments, field teams, and development partners. The incumbent will ensure that programs are delivered in line with organizational goals, donor requirements, and sectoral best practices.
Key Responsibilities
- Assist in the development and execution of annual program plans in collaboration with Field Offices and the Project Director.
- Monitor and support the implementation of program activities at the district level to ensure alignment with project designs and timelines.
- Coordinate regularly with district and provincial education departments to facilitate smooth implementation.
- Collect and analyse field data to support program reporting, evaluation, and decision-making.
- Prepare periodic progress reports and highlight implementation challenges and proposed solutions.
- Organize and facilitate field-level training sessions and capacity-building workshops for partner schools and staff.
- Provide inputs for the design and revision of program materials and operational tools.
- Support the organization of monthly Program Review Meetings and follow-up on action points with field teams.
- Represent the organization at district-level coordination meetings, workshops, and stakeholder forums.
- Maintain effective communication with internal teams and external partners to ensure program efficiency and accountability.
- Ensure compliance with organizational policies and donor requirements in all program activities.
- Promote teamwork, knowledge sharing, and performance-driven culture within the program team.

Job Specifications
Academic Qualifications:
Master’s degree in Education, Public Administration, Management Sciences, Social Sciences, or a related field.
Experience:
Minimum of 5–7 years of relevant experience in program implementation, preferably in the education or development sector. Experience working with government departments, NGOs, or donor-funded programs will be an asset.
Skills & Competencies:
- Strong coordination and communication skills
- Good understanding of project management and monitoring tools
- Experience in data collection and reporting
- Proficiency in MS Office and report writing
- Ability to work independently and in a team
- Willingness to travel to field locations frequently
