Job Description:
The MEAL and Reporting Specialist will play a critical role in supporting partners in the implementation of program activities, aligned with thematic areas. This role involves providing support to ensure timely achievement of project milestones. The incumbent will assist project management through regular field monitoring and evaluation (M&E) visits, ensuring project activities meet defined objectives and deliverables. The role is essential for maintaining accountability, transparency, and quality throughout project implementation by collecting, analyzing, and reporting on project data and documentation.
Main Responsibilities:
Monitoring and Evaluation
- Support the project team in executing activities in assigned districts.
- Develop and update the M&E framework as needed.
- Conduct regular M&E visits to project sites in Balochistan and Sindh provinces.
- Ensure that project activities align with objectives and that targets and deliverables are achieved.
- Collect, analyze, and report data to assess project progress and impact.
- Prepare and submit detailed M&E reports highlighting achievements, challenges, and actionable recommendations.
- Support data collection, validation, and verification processes.
- Develop M&E tools, methodologies, and indicators.
- Develop reporting formats for partners
- Assist in designing and implementing surveys, assessments, and evaluations.
- Ensure data quality and accuracy through regular validation checks.
- Ensure quality assurance for all project activities.
- Manage the Management Information System (MIS).
- Support the development of an evaluation process to measure project impact and effectiveness.
- Monitor implementation methodologies for efficiency and verifiable outcomes, in coordination with the Project and Grants Manager.
Verification and Validation
- Monitor partner activity execution through regular field visits.
- Validate milestones by reviewing partner reports and deliverables, in coordination with the Implementation officer (based in field).
- Verify grantee activities and milestone completion; Submit validated invoices for payment upon verification to the Project and Grants Manager for approval.
Documentation and Reporting
- Document project activities, outcomes, challenges, and lessons learned.
- Prepare and submit required reports including Monthly Progress Reports (MPR), Quarterly Progress Reports (QPR), Annual Reports, project completion reports, and other relevant documentation.
- Develop partner progress reports/presentations on milestone achievements regularly.
- Compile and submit detailed field visit reports.
Facilitating Partners
- Review and provide feedback on grantee reports and deliverables.
- Assist grantees in finalizing reports and documentation as needed.
- Perform any other duties assigned by the supervisor.
Other Important Requirements of the Job
- The position holder is expected to travel frequently.
- Deliver any other tasks as assigned by the Line Manager
