About the Role:

A humanitarian and Development organization is hiring a Watchman for the Education Project who will be responsible for safeguarding project premises, equipment, and personnel during both day and night shifts.

Key Responsibilities:

• Monitor and regulate entry/exit of people, vehicles, and materials to prevent unauthorized access.
• Safeguard furniture, learning materials, assistive devices, and temporary setups.
• Conduct regular security checks and report any suspicious activity or incidents.
• Assist in maintaining safety and order during classes, camps, clubs, and community events.
• Ensure crowd control during SBCC campaigns, trainings, and public gatherings.
• Manage lighting during night shifts and monitor for environmental or safety risks.

Eligibility:

• Minimum literacy
• 1–2 years’ experience in a similar security role preferred.

Required Skills & Competencies:

• Trustworthy, responsible, and attentive; basic knowledge of child safeguarding and gender sensitivity.
• Respectful behaviour; familiarity with local context.
