Consultant Trainer for Disability Inclusion, Leadership, and Management Training for Staff
Location: Quetta, Balochistan
Duration: 10 working days (including preparation, training delivery, and reporting)
Contract Type: Short-Term Consultancy

1. Background
Taraqee Foundation (TF) is a nationally recognized non-profit development organization, with a dedicated focus on empowering marginalized populations particularly persons with disabilities, women, youth, and refugee communities. In partnership with CBM, TF is pleased to invite Expressions of Interest (EOI) from qualified individual trainers, consultants or consultancy firms to conduct a two-day capacity-building workshop.
As part of TF’s inclusive development programming, this initiative aims to strengthen the institutional capacity of project staff and community-level structures in disability-inclusive leadership, effective management, and participatory decision-making. The selected consultant will be responsible for designing and delivering comprehensive training for TF staff and for providing technical guidance to support the cascading of these trainings to Community Committees. The overall goal is to foster inclusive, rights-based, and community-driven practices across all levels of implementation.
2. Objectives of the Assignment

To enhance the capacity of project staff on disability-inclusive development practices.

To build leadership and management skills among project teams to improve community engagement and governance.

To support the development of tools, materials, and guidance for cascading trainings to community committees.

To promote inclusive, gender-sensitive, and participatory practices across all levels of implementation.
3. Scope of Work
The Consultant Trainer will be responsible for the following:

Preparation and Planning
-
Review relevant project documents, organizational policies on inclusion, and background materials.

Develop a tailored training module/manual (with PowerPoint slides, handouts, and case studies) covering:
-
Disability inclusion (social, legal, rights-based perspectives)
-
Leadership and management skills
-
Inclusive community engagement
-
Practical facilitation tips for cascading the training
-
Coordinate with TF focal persons to finalize training agendas and methodology.

Training Delivery
-
Conduct a 2-day in-person training for selected TF staff (approx. 25-30 participants).

Ensure participatory, inclusive, and interactive learning methods (e.g., role plays, group work, practical exercises).

Address cross-cutting issues such as gender equality, accessibility, and safeguarding.

Post-Training Support and Reporting

Provide technical input on training roll-out plans for community committees.

Submit a final report including:

Pre- and post-assessment results

Recommendations for future capacity building

Editable training toolkit for replication

5. Required Qualifications and Experience
-
Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Education, Disability Studies, Development Studies, or related field.

At least 5 years of experience in designing and delivering training on disability inclusion, leadership, or community empowerment.

Strong understanding of human rights-based and inclusive development approaches.
-
Proven experience of delivering at least five similar trainings/workshops with NGOs/INGOs and community-level structures will be considered an asset.

Excellent facilitation, communication, and report-writing skills.
-
Knowledge of the local context (Balochistan) and regional languages will be an asset.
