Job Description:

 

The roles and responsibilities for this position includes but not limited to:

 

  • Records Management
    • Maintain comprehensive and well-organized records of project activities, reports, correspondence, and other documentation in both digital and physical formats.
    • Ensure all documents are stored securely and can be retrieved efficiently when needed.
  • Reporting and Updates
    • Prepare weekly, monthly, and periodic reports in coordination with district teams and technical staff.
    • Consolidate data and updates from the field and ensure accuracy and consistency before submission to the Project lead and onward submission.
  • Annual Reporting
    • Support the Project Lead and relevant team members in compiling and drafting the annual report for the project, including success stories, key achievements, and challenges.
  • Content Review and Quality Assurance
    • Review all updates, documents, and communication materials prepared for district-level stakeholders to ensure alignment with project goals and communication protocols.
    • Proofread and edit reports and materials to maintain high quality, clarity, and consistency.
  • Support Functions
    • Assist in organizing review meetings, field documentation visits, and knowledge-sharing sessions.
    • Maintain logs of all submissions, report timelines, and feedback received.
  • Communication:
    • Lead the development and implementation of Project’s Communication Strategy and Annual Communication Plan.
    • Develop and disseminate engaging and informative press releases, news articles, and op-eds in coordination with print media.
    • Ensure regular updates on official social media accounts (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram, YouTube) including reels, vlogs, quotes, infographics, and stories aligned with key milestones and international days.
    • Produce and supervise audio-visual content, including short videos, beneficiary interviews, project vlogs, and reels for dissemination on TV channels, social media, and community WhatsApp groups.
    • Liaise with local and national media for coverage of events, field activities, and special campaigns.
    • Review and manage content official website, ensuring regular updates and compliance with branding guidelines.
    • Coordinate with communication focal persons at all levels for real-time content and updates.
    • Guide the overall administration and coordination of the communications section.

 

 

Qualification & Experience

 

Master’s degree in Social Sciences, Development Studies, Mass Communication, or a related field. Minimum 7 years of relevant experience in documentation, reporting, or project communications.
