Reports to: MS (Head Office)

Salary: PKR 80,000 pm


Job Purpose

The Hospital Administrator will be responsible for the day-to-day non-medical operations of the hospital. Your goal is to ensure that our charity-based facility runs smoothly, stays financially sustainable, and provides dignified care to the underserved community. You will bridge the gap between clinical needs and administrative resources.

Key Responsibilities

1. Operational Management

  • Oversee daily facility operations, including fleet management, maintenance, security, and cleanliness.
  • Manage the procurement of non-medical supplies and coordinate with the clinical team for medical inventory.
  • Implement and monitor administrative policies to improve patient flow and reduce wait times.

2. Financial Stewardship & Fundraising

  • Manage the hospital’s budget with high transparency and accountability.
  • Oversee the billing (if any) or registration process for charity patients.
  • Assist the Board in fundraising initiatives and maintain detailed records for donor reporting.
  • Identify cost-saving measures without compromising the quality of patient care.

3. Human Resources & Volunteer Coordination

  • Manage non-medical staff (reception, cleaning, security, drivers).
  • Coordinate with volunteer doctors and nursing staff to ensure proper scheduling.
  • Foster a work culture rooted in empathy, service, and professional integrity.

4. Patient & Community Relations

  • Act as the first point of escalation for patient grievances or non-clinical issues.
  • Build relationships with local community leaders, NGOs, and government health departments.
  • Ensure that the hospital’s charity mission is communicated clearly to all visitors.

5. Compliance & Documentation

  • Ensure the facility meets local health and safety regulations.
  • Maintain organized records of patient demographics and services rendered for impact reports.

Required Skills & Qualifications

  • Experience: 3–5 years of experience in office management, NGO administration, or small-business operations. Experience in a non-profit environment is a major plus.
  • Education: A Bachelor is degree in Business Administration, Public Administration, Social Work, or a related field. (Medical degree not required).
  • Technical Skills: Proficiency in MS Office (Excel is essential for budgeting) and basic digital record keeping.
  • Soft Skills:
    • Resourcefulness: Ability to "do more with less" in a charity setting.
    • Empathy: A genuine desire to serve the underprivileged.
    • Conflict Resolution: Calmness under pressure when dealing with stressed patients or families.
