CAREER OPPORTUNITY

Sindh Rural Support Organization (SRSO) is a not-for-profit organization registered under Section 42 of the Companies Act 2017. SRSO invites applications from energetic, well-qualified, and experienced individuals for the position below:

Assistant Manager – Risk Management & Compliance

Qualification:
Postgraduate Master’s degree in Risk Management, Finance & Accounts, Audit, Islamic Finance or equivalent from an HEC-recognized university/institute.

Experience:
Minimum 3 years relevant experience in risk management, compliance, audit, or finance, preferably within financial institutions or development sector organizations.

Duty Station: SRSO Head Office, Sukkur
Gender: Both

Technical & Soft Skills Required

  • Proficiency in Risk Management, Financial Analysis, and Compliance Monitoring

  • Strong understanding of SECP regulatory framework for development sector and NBFCs

  • Knowledge of AML/CFT risk-based approaches

  • Excellent report-writing, data analysis, and presentation skills

  • Strong communication, coordination, and problem-solving skills

  • Integrity, discretion, and attention to detail

  • Proficiency in MS Office and analytical tools

Core Responsibilities

Risk Management

  • Support Senior Manager in executing risk management framework, policies, and procedures

  • Identify, assess, and document operational, financial, and compliance risks

  • Maintain and update Risk Registers and monitor Key Risk Indicators

  • Facilitate risk workshops with regional and functional teams

  • Draft risk reports and analytical dashboards

  • Review project proposals/MoUs for risk implications

  • Support internal capacity-building on risk tools and processes

Regulatory Compliance

  • Monitor compliance with SECP, SBP, NBFC Rules, AML/CFT Act, and other regulations

  • Maintain Compliance Register and track regulatory requirements

  • Prepare compliance reports for regulatory authorities

  • Support AML/CFT & Shariah compliance programs

  • Conduct reviews of suspicious activity alerts

  • Coordinate compliance and AML/CFT trainings

  • Liaise with departments/regions for regulatory data requests

  • Track implementation of audit & compliance recommendations
