About the Job
Better Cotton is seeking a dynamic and motivated individual to join its Membership & Supply Chain team based in the Better Cotton Pakistan Office, in Lahore, who will help facilitate the adoption of the Better Cotton’s Chain of Custody standard (both mass balance and traceability models) in Pakistan and the Australasia region. The Membership & Supply Chain Officer will be mainly responsible for onboarding suppliers and manufacturers into the Better Cotton Chain of Custody Standard, training and supporting the team with service delivery to members as well as non-members to prepare them for sourcing Better Cotton.
The ideal candidate has experience in assisting to roll-out new systems and processes throughout textile supply-chain and stakeholder engagement. Experience in traceability is a plus. The role offers excellent opportunities for professional development, and we therefore seeking a service-oriented individual able to respond new challenges, identify and analyse problems, and contribute to finding solutions proactively.
This position will report to Senior Traceability Coordinator, Pakistan.
Your role and responsibilities
We are seeking a motivated Membership and Supply Chain Officerto join our team at Pakistan. In this role, you will be responsible for:

Support the M&SC Coordinator in the mapping of cotton supply chains originating in Pakistan through engaging with supply chain actors;

Identify and map suppliers specifically critical lint buyers and engage with them for onboarding into the Chain of Custody and the Better Cotton Platform;

Facilitate workshops and other events to gather requirements at a local level which supports the mapping process of Better Cotton supply chain
- Preparing for the roll-out of the new chain of custody model and traceability solution throughout Better Cotton’s supply chain in Australia and Far East Asia Region;
- Delivering and reporting on the traceability roll-out plan for East Asia and keep close track of onboarded supply chain actors;
- Support the implementation of the global traceability assurance and integrity approach by providing country level insights;
- Coordinate with global compliance desk to verify integrity and completeness of registration forms and other relevant documentation;
- Respond to enquiries about Better Cotton membership from potential organisations in a timely manner;
- Execute the application process for organisations through data capturing, applications review, consultation, and submission for approvals;
- Assist in coordinating members’ annual meeting and monitoring self-assessment under the supervision of the Pakistan and global Membership Manager;
- Maintain all records relating to Pakistani members and users are kept up to date and accurate in the CRM (Salesforce) to ensure Better Cotton.

Working arrangements
The position is full-time (40 hours per week) and will be based inLahore - Pakistan. Better Cotton offers flexible working, with core hours being 10 am – 4 pm.The position might require travel domestically as well as internationally,if needed.
