Call for pre-selection

Malteser International is hereinafter referred to as “the MI”, is a non-profit, humanitarian agency of more than 50 years of experience, providing humanitarian assistance around   20 countries worldwide.  Its mission is not only to provide emergency relief, but also to implement rehabilitation measures and to facilitate/ strengthen the nexuses between emergency relief and sustainable development.

The purpose of this pre-selection to securitize submitted evidence (documents) of potential vendors for Malteser International Pakistan for Notification of pre-selection.

Scope of Work: The potential vendors are required to submit their application as per the following categories. on the sealed envelope/ as subject of the courier, the categories applied for must be clearly indicated.

 A. Construction companies, (Installation of incinerators at BHUs, rehabilitation work of BHUs premises, like work on latrines, rehabilitation of water supply in BHUs other small repair and maintenance of BHUs buildings.

B. Consultants (trainings, evaluation, publications, event like street theatres, video documentary etc) agents for air travel etc. Individual trainers are encouraged to apply under this category.

C. Supplies of medical items (medicines, consumables & medical equipment’s

D. Services/ HARD EQUIPMENT/ MAINTENANCE of vehicles/ Maintenance of office items equipment’s such as Air cons, generator, provision and installation of solar panels, solar systems.

E:  Operations cost IT equipment, Office stationeries Toner’s cartridges, printing visibility Household material, tea & cleaning items

F: Relief items: Hygiene kits, infants kits, mosquito bed nets, office furniture etc.

G: Transporters, Rental vehicle companies, Armoured Vehicle provider etc.

The qualified Applicant(s) will attain a ‘Notification of Pre-qualification’ for 2 years not extendable. Once pre-qualified, the vendor will participate in Request for Quotations and for above stated work/services. Applicants shall be domiciled in and shall comply with all Government Regulations to operate in Pakistan and having continuous business operation set-up in Pakistan.

Eligibility criteria:

1. Must have valid registration/license with government competent authority as per government regulations.
2. Must have functional office and work permission in Pakistan.
3. Must be taxpayer.
4. Applicants shall not be under a declaration of ineligibility for corrupt or fraudulent practices.
5. Must have more than 3 years of experience in the said category.
6. Working with NGOs and INGOs in Pakistan will be an added advantage.

 Required documents

1. Registration certificate/ license of the competent authority. Drug license etc.
2. Tax certificate for the last three years
3. Firm/company profile containing detail of work experience and address of functional office in Pakistan
4. Staff list and bank statement for the last six months.
5. The duly signed preselection questionnaire.
6. Audit reports.

Applicant shall submit sealed documents and addressed to the Procurement Committee, at (Malteser International Islamabad Office. # House No 223- Broadway Street Green Avenue Islamabad by or before 21^st July 2025. Organization reserves the right to accept or reject, any or all proposals without assigning any reason.

 A prospective applicant can acquire preselection documents form following emails address not later than 20^th June 2025 at [email protected]

Note: No late submission in this regard will be entertained. The supplier who are already listed in the Malteser international database will have to apply too with all the documentation to freshen up the documentation and record.
