Scope:         The objective of this position is to ensure proper implementation of operational plan and programs in all districts, effective coordination with Education Department and all other stakeholders including consultants, Edtech companies etc in education sector in Pakistan. Manage overall projects and generate periodic reports to donor/stakeholders.

 

Responsibilities

 

  1. Prepare annual plan for all programs in consultation with Field Offices.
  2. Ensure implementation of program in accordance with design, plan and agreement with the funding agencies.
  3. Ensure coordination with education departments.
  4. Develop linkages with different stakeholders in Pakistan and internationally.
  5. Ensure achievement of targets and plans.
  6. Conduct Program Review Meeting on monthly basis with all Field Offices.
  7. Conceive, design and suggest cost efficient amendments/improvement in the Program in line with the policy and vision of MF.
  8. Ensure that analysis and research is done for input in program design and plans.
  9. Plan, conduct and supervise program related trainings. Facilitate impact analysis of trainings by Q&A to improve training processes.
  10. Represent MF at Provincial and Federal Government levels, and at national and international development partners’ forums to create awareness and projection of MF programs.
  11. Explore avenues for cooperation and coordination with the NGOs and Private Sector involved in Education in Pakistan.
  12. Make program related presentations at various forums at provincial and national level.
  13. Preparation of responses to the program related queries raised by the Government and other stakeholders.
  14. Ensure Team Building.

Principal Accountabilities

 

  1. Planning , organizing, and directing the completion of projects for an organization while ensuring these projects are on time, on budget and within scope.
  2. Review of program design according to arising situation.
  3. Proper implementation of operational plans at district level.
  4. Program representation of MF at provincial level.
  5. Timely resolution of operational issues of Districts.
  6. Ensure smooth coordination and liaison with affiliated Govt: offices & collaboration with relevant stakeholders.
  7. Generation of periodic reports to donors & other stakeholders as required.

Job Specifications

 

Academic:      Master’s degree preferably in Masters in Public Administration or Management Sciences or Social Sciences.

Experience:    A high profile professional having at least twelve years’ experience of dealing with provincial government officials, elected members and community. Also having an experience of conceiving, designing and monitoring of education program at provincial or national level

 Trainings:      Project management, Leadership and team building, study of different programs in various countries and Project Management.
