Job Summary:

The Head of Academics will play a pivotal leadership role in driving academic excellence across all schools within the organization. This position is responsible for ensuring the effective implementation of curriculum guidelines, enhancing instructional quality, monitoring student performance, and introducing innovative education models. The role also includes maintaining compliance with educational standards and optimizing academic resources through collaboration with key stakeholders.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Curriculum Implementation & Standardization:
    Develop, refine, and oversee the implementation of curriculum guidelines to ensure alignment and consistency across all schools within the network.
  • Teacher Training & Capacity Building:
    Design and implement comprehensive teacher training and professional development programs aimed at enhancing instructional practices and overall teaching effectiveness.
  • Student Performance Monitoring:
    Establish systems for tracking academic performance, analyzing student achievement data, and driving improvements through evidence-based strategies.
  • Educational Innovation:
    Identify, evaluate, and implement innovative teaching methodologies, learning technologies, and global best practices to foster student engagement and improve learning outcomes.
  • Stakeholder Collaboration:
    Work collaboratively with school leadership, academic coordinators, and external education partners to maximize the use of academic resources and strengthen the overall learning ecosystem.
  • Quality Assurance & Compliance: Ensure all academic programs adhere to national and institutional quality standards, regulatory requirements, and accreditation criteria.

Qualifications and Experience:

  • Master’s degree (or higher) in Education, Educational Leadership, Curriculum & Instruction, or a related field.
  • Minimum of 8–10 years of experience in academic leadership or curriculum development, preferably in a multi-school setting.
  • Proven track record in implementing academic frameworks, managing teacher development, and improving student outcomes.
  • Experience in integrating technology and innovation into educational practices is highly desirable.
