A large public sector organization is seeking highly qualified and experienced professionals for the following position:
Professional Experience:
- A minimum of 10 years of progressive experience in finance and accounting roles.
- Strong knowledge of International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS), local regulatory laws, and proficiency in ERP systems or similar financial software applications.
Educational Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree (First Class) in Business Administration with a major in Finance or Accounting from an HEC-recognized institution.
- Candidates holding professional certifications such as ACCA, CA, ICMA, CFA, or CPA will be given preference.
Key Competencies:
- Expertise in financial reporting, budgeting, internal controls, general ledger management, foreign investments, taxation, and treasury operations.
- Extensive understanding of financial trends both within the organization and in broader market environments.
- Strong working knowledge of statutory legislation, financial regulations, and compliance requirements.
- Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills to support strategic financial decision-making.
- Excellent organizational, leadership, and communication skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across teams.
